Muyu Journal: Issue 01 – The New Landlords is a print publication exploring contemporary Sierra Leonean identity through image and text.

The name Muyu, meaning “patience” in Temne, reflects a slower, intentional way of seeing and making. This first issue brings together photographers, writers, and artists whose work sits between memory and the present, tracing how a generation is shaping its own narrative.

Featuring Drizilik on the cover, alongside contributions from across Sierra Leone and its diaspora, The New Landlords moves through themes of home, belonging, and self-definition.
